Marie is 57 years old, married for 32 years to Ron. They have two sons, Kevin (30) and Justin (26). Raising money for a cause is not new to the Nemecs. In September 1998 and 1999, their family climbed "America's Mountain," Pikes Peak, as a fundraiser for the Brain Injury Association of Colorado. Marie has been riding "seriously" for three years. The Border War on HD will be her third fundraising ride for HD.

Amanda is 37 years old and single. She graduated on May 12 of this year with a degree in Business Administration and Liberal Arts (double major). She is part of a very closeknit family with 1 brother and 1 sister who have graciously given her 2 nieces and 4 nephews. She loves to travel, do art of just about any type, reading, and spending time with my family and friends. She is really honored to be involved with Bike for the Cure. She feels that her family has been abundantly blessed and can't think of a better way of saying thank you.

Charlotte Reicks, age 65, lives in Grand Junction, Colorado. In 1999 She bicycled with Marie on the first HD coast to coast bicycle ride from Santa Monica, CA into West Viriginia. Marie then went to Washingtong, D.C. for the HD convention and Charlotte and a friend turned North to Portland, Maine. They then bicycled South along the Atlantic Coast to Tampa Florida, turned their bicycles around and bicycled back diagonally to the Parcific to Portland, Oregon. Their final leg of the Infinity Loop was down the Pacific Coast or Oregon and California back to Santa Monica, CA, a total of 8400 bicycling miles. Their purpose was to spread the Good News of Jesus Christ. Charlotte was a teacher 25 yers, a legal secretary 10 years and now has a medical transcription business. She has 2 children and 3 grandchildren.
