Ted Drewes Frozen Custard on Chippewa Street

This is the most famous ice cream store in St. Louis. When we stopped there to sample the ice cream people were lined up 3-4 deep at almost all the windows. And they weren't all just locals. We met a couple from Germany who were spending three weeks on Route 66.

This was definitely the hot-spot in town.
